Robbery card game: rules and how to play
Robbery is a fast collecting game: match the cards on the table, steal from your opponents' collections, and finish with the most points.
Rules
- Each player gets 4 cards and 4 cards go face up on the table. The rest form the deck.
- While the deck has cards, you draw up to 5 cards before every move, and hold 4 while waiting.
- Play a card. If it matches table cards, or the top stack of an opponent's collection, you collect them all and play again.
- A card that matches the top of your own collection can be stacked on it.
- If your card matches nothing, it stays on the table and your turn ends.
- Whoever draws the last deck card keeps going while they collect. After the next throw, everyone plays one card per turn until hands are empty.
- Leftover table cards go to the last player who collected.
Points
- 2 to 10: 5 points each
- J, Q, K: 10 points each
- Ace: 20 points
Game types
- 2 players
- 3 players, everyone for themselves
- 4 players as partners, sharing one team collection
Tips
- Don't leave a big stack, or an ace, on top of your collection. Bury it with another collect.
- A card your opponent throws may be bait from a pair.
- Try to be the one who draws the last card.
